> HopToDesk is free remote desktop software for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, with an optional dashboard for managing many devices: unattended access, ticketing, session recording, white-label clients, and an MCP endpoint so AI apps can act on the devices an account manages.

## For AI apps and agents

- Any MCP client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code) can connect to a HopToDesk dashboard account and list devices, run commands and predefined operations, take screenshots, read the screen, move files, add devices with an invite link, and hand the account owner an upgrade link when the device limit is reached.

- The connection is free on every plan. Free accounts manage up to 3 devices; paid plans are priced per device.
- The account owner creates the address at https://dashboard.hoptodesk.com/connect and pastes it into the AI app as a remote MCP server.
